Location: Johannesburg, South Africa Role Overview
Lead and support a portfolio of Collision Avoidance System (CAS) installation and service programs across South Africa. Oversee planning, execution, governance, and successful delivery of complex customer projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and financial objectives are achieved.
Typical Responsibilities Lead the day‑to‑day management of CAS installation, commissioning, and service programs throughout the project lifecycle. Define program governance controls. Plan the overall program and monitor progress. Manage the program’s budget. Identify and mitigate risks and issues, taking corrective action. Coordinate projects and their interdependencies. Allocate and utilize resources across projects. Communicate with stakeholders. Align deliverables to the program’s outcomes in collaboration with the business change manager. Maintain the main program documentation, such as the program initiation document. Qualifications Strong knowledge of project and program management methodologies and techniques. Understanding of the broader objectives of the program. Ability to work positively with a wide range of individuals involved in program management. Strong leadership and management skills. Knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures. Creative problem‑solving abilities. Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills with great attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of interfacing at all levels and functions. Additional Requirements Flexible work hours to accommodate varying time zones. Occasional travel to customer sites (including international regions) approx. 25–40 %. Current driver’s license required.Successful candidates will be employed under local employment conditions and must already satisfy local employment/work permit and residency regulations.
