Program Manager
The Trotter Multicultural Center and Multi-Ethnic Student Affairs (MESA) serve as a vibrant campus hub where students connect, lead, and engage across identities and interests. Trotter/MESA offers event and meeting spaces, quiet and informal lounges, support for student organizations, and opportunities for community building and shared learning. Primary location includes a 10,000 sq. foot multicultural center and secondary location includes a 5-room office suite in the Michigan Union.
These portfolios center initiatives that draw upon the knowledge, experience, and history/traditions of Asian American and Pacific Islander and Native American and Indigenous communities to deepen the experiences of all students. In each role, the Program managers will support programming around student connection, visibility, and community-building, while honoring the unique cultural, historical, and contemporary experiences of these communities. You will lead programs that create spaces for engagement, learning, identity affirmation, and relationship-building.
You will advise student organizations and support initiatives that foster community connections, belonging, leadership development, and cultural engagement. You will collaborate with campus and community partners to develop programming that uplifts the respective communities perspectives and knowledge systems. In this role, you will also contribute to broader educational and intellectual efforts that deepen understanding and respect across the campus community, as well as fostering a vibrantly dynamic campus community.
Both roles will be hybrid with three days onsite and two days remote eligible. Onsite days will primarily take place in Ann Arbor, MI. The Program Manager is expected to be flexible with irregular hours and sometimes weekends, depending on programs.

Selected candidates whose start date is 4/1/2026 or after, will not be eligible for the university FY26-27 salary/merit plan unless otherwise notified.
Salary may vary depending on qualifications, experience, and education of the selected candidate.
Relocation will not be offered for this role.
