Program Manager For Project Execution
As the Program Manager for Project Execution you will have the following duties:
- Coordinate Naval Reactors headquarters and field office efforts and provide recommendations to the Division Director concerning performance, resource needs, and improvement actions.
- Participate in budget formulation, financial execution, manpower planning, and approval processes for assigned infrastructure construction projects
- Provide executive-level guidance for infrastructure and technical programs across Naval Reactors DOE sites, including planning, budgeting, review, and technical evaluation of requirements, design, construction, operation, modification, and deactivation activities.
- Resolve complex technical and logistical issues and ensure delivery of technically sound infrastructure and equipment on time and within budget.
- Oversee federal project managers for major construction efforts; provide headquarters oversight of requirements development, design, procurement, construction, testing, and equipment delivery.
- Develop and maintain consistent programmatic and technical standards across the Division; establish performance metrics; conduct independent technical and programmatic reviews; and develop long-range plans addressing workforce, contractor capabilities, infrastructure requirements, and future mission needs.
- Provide technical leadership and professional development for approximately four federal engineers and project managers (military and civilian), and oversight for several thousand contractor personnel across DOE/DON laboratories, shipyards, vendors, and other organizations ensuring program-wide consistency and high technical standards.
