Program Manager - Regional Hub (Thrive)

The Regional Hub Program Manager serves as the primary regional lead for implementing the Thrive Kansas Digital Mental Health Initiative within an assigned Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) regional hub. This position works closely with healthcare organizations, providers, community health workers, and project leadership to support deployment, adoption and ongoing use of digital mental health services. The role is responsible for coordinating regional activities, facilitating stakeholder engagement, addressing implementation barriers, monitoring progress, and ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and quality standards.

The Thrive Kansas Digital Mental Health Initiative is a grant funded, statewide, evidence-based digital therapeutic strategy designed to expand access to treatment for depression, substance use disorders (SUD) and other mental disorders in rural Kansas. The initiative deploys clinically validated computerized mental health interventions supported by community-based facilitation and integrated into rural primary care, behavioral health, and community settings.

Work environment:

  • This position may be eligible for a hybrid (in-office/remote) work schedule, based on a set departmental schedule and with management approval. Incumbent must reside in Kansas or Missouri.

Required qualifications:

  • Seven (7) years of experience in program management, project management, healthcare operations, implementation support, or related roles. Education may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis.
  • Experience coordinating multi-site projects or community-based initiatives.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Experience facilitating meetings and managing project-related communications.
  • Experience coordinating workforce development, training programs, or implementation activities.
  • Experience with quality improvement, evaluation, or reporting activities.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in public health, healthcare administration, business administration, social work, behavioral health, public administration, or related field.
  • Experience in public health, healthcare administration, business administration, social work, behavioral health, nursing, public administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in rural healthcare, behavioral health, population health, or digital health programs.
  • Experience supporting grant-funded, federally funded, or state-funded initiatives.
  • Experience with implementation of science frameworks, practice transformation, or quality improvement methodologies.
  • Experience supervising or coordinating community health workers, care coordinators, or implementation teams.
  • Experience working with healthcare systems, federally qualified health centers (FQHCs), critical access hospitals, behavioral health organizations, or community-based organizations.

Comprehensive benefits package:

Compensation statement:

The pay range listed for this position is determined by our compensation program using market data and salary benchmarking. A combination of factors is considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, education, experience and training, qualifications relative to the requirements of the position, and funding. At the University of Kansas Medical Center, a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range, taking into account the combination of factors listed above.

Pay range:

$60,800.00 - $91,200.00

Minimum: $60,800.00

Midpoint: $76,000.00

Maximum: $91,200.00
