The Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport (DCITHS) brings vibrancy to NSW by growing our creative industries and workforces, driving strong visitor and night‑time economies, ensuring a responsible hospitality sector, and placing arts, culture and sport at the heart of every community.
Create NSW sits at the centre of this work, supporting creative practitioners, screen and digital industries, cultural organisations and communities to thrive.
We are seeking a motivated and capable Senior Program Lead, Policy Implementation and Projects to join the Policy and Strategy team at Create NSW.
About the role
In this role, you will be a key member of a small team responsible for the development and implementation of policy initiatives and projects that advance Create NSW and DCITHS priorities, across government. You will contribute to policy work from early development through to delivery, supporting effective and meaningful governance and informed decision‑making.
You will prepare high‑quality written materials, including briefs, correspondence, reports, agendas and meeting minutes, and provide secretariat support to meetings and forums, ensuring accurate records and timely follow‑up of actions. You will also support stakeholder engagement by coordinating inputs, managing consultations and responding to requests for information.
Working closely with the Associate Director and the broader Policy and Strategy team, you will monitor progress, help resolve issues and contribute to whole‑of‑government work. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently, and confidence working with senior stakeholders in a fast‑paced policy environment.

You are highly organised, bring a positive and can‑do attitude, and can manage competing priorities and tight deadlines with confidence.
