Position: Program & Project coordinator
We are pleased to invite applications for the position of Program & Project Coordinator to lead, strengthen, and innovate within our program portfolio. This role is well-suited for a proactive professional with strong project management capabilities, stakeholder engagement skills, and a passion for designing impactful development programs.

Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, and monitor programs end-to-end while ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
2. Program Development & Innovation
Strong capability to design new program models, identify emerging needs, conceptualize innovative solutions, and pilot effective interventions.
3. Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL)
Skilled in developing and applying logical frameworks, M&E tools, and data-driven approaches to improve program performance and impact.
4. Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination
Proven experience in building collaborative relationships with government agencies, community groups, partners, donors, and internal teams.
5. Communication & Reporting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and proposal inputs.
6. Financial & Compliance Oversight
Competence in managing budgets, tracking expenditures, ensuring accountability, and maintaining compliance with donor and organizational requirements.
7. Team Leadership & Capacity Building
Ability to mentor, guide, and supervise field staff, fostering a positive, high-performance team environment.

Strong analytical thinking with the ability to identify risks, troubleshoot operational challenges, and implement timely corrective measures.

Comfort working in dynamic, fast-paced, and rural environments with the ability to handle pressure, multitask, and travel extensively.

Understanding of rural contexts, community dynamics, and commitment to inclusive, participatory development approaches.
Required Skills & Qualifications
o Master’s degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Project Management, International Relations, or a related field (strong bachelor’s degree with solid experience may be considered).
o 5–7 years of proven experience in program management within the development/non-profit sector, including project cycle management.
o Demonstrated experience in program development, proposal writing, and designing innovative interventions.
o Strong understanding of project management principles, logical frameworks, M&E systems, and results-based management.
o Minimum 2 years’ experience in field coordination and stakeholder engagement, preferably in rural contexts.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant project management or data analysis tools.
o Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
o Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of regional languages is an added advantage.
o Ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and work both independently and in fast-paced environments.
o Willingness for extensive field travel, often on short notice, and comfort working in rural settings with basic facilities.
o Prior experience in donor reporting, compliance, and financial monitoring is highly desirable.
o Commitment to a minimum two-year engagement with the project
