Program / Project Manager Epic Data & Analytics

We are looking for a Program or Senior Project Manager specializing in Epic data and analytics to support enterprise reporting and data migration efforts tied to a major EMR transformation initiative. This role leads the data and analytics program required to transition extracts, pipelines, and downstream consuming systems during an Epic EMR merger / consolidation. Oversees Epic data sources and Epic Cogito reporting / analytics components (e.g., Clarity / Caboodle, SlicerDicer, and Reporting Workbench), enterprise data platforms (ETL / ELT and warehouse), operational / analytic extracts (files / SFTP), and downstream consumers (BI / reporting, registries, quality, finance, research, and vendor platforms). Owns governance, validation, cutover, and stabilization support to ensure continuity of critical reporting / data feeds while meeting privacy, security, and compliance requirements.

  • Remote-first with occasional onsite support as needed
  • Flexibility for travel during critical project phases

Key Accountabilities:

  • Plan & govern delivery: Own the integrated plan, cadence, RAID / decision logs, and change control.
  • Mapping & downstream readiness: Coordinate source-to-target mapping, KPI definitions, data contracts, and consumer cutover readiness.
  • Cutover & stabilization support: Lead mock cutovers, go / no-go readiness, runbooks / rollback, triage cadence, and stabilization exit criteria.
  • Inventory & ownership: Maintain the authoritative feed / consumer inventory (owners, PHI status, SLAs, latency) and resolve unknown dependencies.
  • Validate & sign off: Drive reconciliation and business validation; obtain signoffs for critical extracts and reporting outputs.
  • Controls & communications: Ensure PHI-safe controls and monitoring / alerting; coordinate vendors and executive-ready status / cutover communications.

Required Skills:

  • 710+ years of project/program management experience
  • Strong experience with Epic data and reporting tools, including:
    • Cogito
    • Clarity
    • Caboodle
    • Reporting Workbench
    • Enterprise data platforms
  • Experience with Power BI or similar tool
  • Experience managing data migration, conversion, or analytics programs
  • Ability to work with technical and business stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Epic-to-Epic or large-scale EMR migrations
  • PMP or equivalent certification
  • Background in healthcare analytics or reporting
