In this role you drive procurement excellence for new product development, ensuring timely material availability, cost targets, and cross-functional alignment. You act as the strategic interface between Purchasing, R&D, and Project Management to support the full product lifecycle. You lead NPI sourcing, manage BOM alignment with product specs, and track performance through KPIs. You will shape supplier readiness and cost optimization across concept to phase-out, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver on project objectives.

Retribuzione / Benefits Lead Purchasing activities for new product development and report on progress Serve as main Purchasing interface within project teams to ensure cross-functional alignment Define BOMs for new projects aligned with R&D and purchasing strategy Participate actively in project meetings and influence decisions on cost, time-to-market, and other drivers Collaborate with Commodity Managers, Project Leaders and Product Managers to align R&D with commodity strategies Attend regular project meetings to represent Purchasing inputs and recommendations Review project requirements to ensure alignment with specifications Lead NPI sourcing activities and material preparation to meet timelines Support early demand shaping and supplier capacity readiness during NPI Provide inputs for accurate cost estimation (specifications, BOM, target cost, volumes) Perform BOM cost analysis and support project status reporting Set cost targets for the Commodity team to meet project objectives Define and track KPIs (cost vs target, sourcing timing, supplier readiness) for projects Manage Purchasing impact of engineering changes during development and MP stage Drive continuous sourcing and cost-saving initiatives Support COGS ownership, cost optimization, and RTC across full product lifecycle including mass production cost management Oversee cost estimation, forecasting, and reporting with Program Purchasing Manager team Maintain procurement tools and dashboards and push for digitalization and AI initiatives Responsabilità Knowledge of Purchasing activities for new product development Ability to act as interface within project teams and ensure cross-functional alignment Experience defining BOMs aligned with product specs and purchasing strategy Capacity to balance cost targets, time-to-market and project drivers Collaboration with R&D, commodity managers, and product managers Experience in cost estimation, BOM cost analysis, and KPI tracking Experience managing changes during development and mass production phases Ability to lead sourcing activities and ensure supplier readiness for NPI Familiarity with procurement tools, dashboards, and digitalization initiatives #J-18808-Ljbffr
