The position is located in Ramos, Mexico
Essential Accountabilities:
- Lead program development quality initiatives and PPAP activities, as well as, preparation and reception of programs for serial production.
This is cradle to grave responsibility of program and customer quality.
- Drive quality tasks and complete deliverables according to process definitions for acquisitions, customer programs, engineering changes and maintain data in customer APWP portals.
- Assess risks and opportunities in regard to Quality that may impact program objectives and trigger appropriate action.
- Create the control plan for prototype, pre series and series phases as well as the defect & rework catalogue and transfer to production.
Secondary Accountabilities:
- Conduct all business related activities for, and on the behalf of, Eberspaecher within the limits of applicable local, state, and federal legal requirements.
- Provide support to, and compliance with, all local and corporate Eberspaecher Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and other HSE related requirements.
- Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and follows all ENA polices related to TS * and ISO *; looks for way to improve and promote quality.
- Other duties as assigned.
Professional Background / Basic Qualification / Work Experience:
- Minimum of five years experience working for tier 1 automotive supplier in quality and advanced quality planning.
- Minimum five years experience with QMS, IATF * requirements, 8D Methodology, GD&T Root cause analysis.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient with the AIAG Core Tools
- To perform this job successfully and domestically by car or plane.
