Technical Engineering degree, or equivalent experience, in one of the following disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance Must have the ability to travel Experience working with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Experience in a Quality Management role Experience managing the development, modification, application and maintenance of quality standards and protocol for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming material Experienced as a team lead and facilitator Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Program operations based in Grand Prairie, TX. The candidate will be responsible for the strategic leadership and performance of several key areas of responsibility, including overall program Quality business process management, data analytics, continuous improvement, talent development, training and knowledge continuity. What You Will Be Doing The candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert in Quality Engineering and as an Adviser for the Quality team. This position requires that the candidate stay current with industry standards, solutions and leverage technology into Missiles & Fire Control (MFC). Duties include, but not limited to: Drive strategies resulting in contemporary and optimal business methods and practices for strengthening the Quality Management System and talent development Develop and implement processes to optimize program execution while driving out risks Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams to ensure quality standards are in place Establish Program Quality Management System that comply with customer requirements and governmental regulatory standards Utilize quality methodologies and Missiles and Fire Control policies and procedures Establish performance metrics and conducting data analysis to identify process improvements Identifying solutions to complex problems with a focus on continual improvement practices using tools like Causal Analysis to drive Corrective Action and Preventive Action Liaison between program and the Customer to ensure Customer satisfaction and accomplishment of Customer requirements Develop talent to strengthen the organization

Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification Advanced AS9100, AS9102 and TS 16949 Interpretation and application experience Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) technical experience Quality engineering/leadership role in the Defense and Aerospace industry and or Automotive industry Experience in the following areas: Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) / Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA) Advanced product quality planning (APQP) Customer Quality Design Assurance Ability to influence outcomes Effective presentation skills, ability to develop messages, training and compelling strategies resulting in implementing and executing innovative solutions Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with Technical Operations, manufacturing, Global Supply Chain and all other stakeholders

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
