Perform a variety of duties coordinating event details for conferences, meetings, catering and group dining meals. Act as main point of contact with the client and other campus partners on event logistics.
Job Duties:
Responsible for the planning and execution of events based on the objectives of client.
Arrange for facilities and services for each assigned conference, including follow-up on all details and coordination with appropriate service providers.
Oversee preparation of budgets, financial records and statements, and monitor income and expenditures of each conference program.
Develop and maintain conference registration websites.
Organize, coordinate and provide appropriate event details to campus partners.
Coordinate group dining hall reservations and billing.
Perform a wide range of responsibilities in support of program activities such as: group/conference dining reservations, catering orders, scheduling and billing.
Prepare and process weekly billing and provide all required reports.
Provide administrative support such as answering phones, responding to the general email, ordering supplies and managing office inventory, depositing funds, producing reports and financial summaries.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school graduation and five years of related office experience or Associate’s degree and three years of related experience or a combination of higher education and related experience equal to five years.
Proficiency in various computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
Understanding of office practices, procedures and use of electronic equipment as required by department.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, vendors, customers, students, and the general public.
Preferred Qualifications:
College degree.
Experience in the administrative functions of the conference and catering industry.

Compensation Pay Range:
