Senior Programme Manager / Programme Manager (at the rank of Administrative Assistant II/ Executive Officer) in the Admissions Office of the Registry(Ref.: 537220) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, and with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should have a good Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years' work experience, preferably in the education sector or in public relations-related fields. Applicants with less experience may be considered for appointment as Programme Manager.
Candidates who have prior experience working in a youth organisation or within educational settings, such as schools, NGOs, etc., and genuinely enjoy working with high school students are preferred. They should have an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, the ability to work independently with initiative, good organisational and communication skills, as well as an outgoing personality.
The appointee will be responsible for planning and designing programmes for talented high school students in Hong Kong and overseas. He/She will also manage the marketing and promotion of the Admissions Office's Talented Programme across Hong Kong, Mainland China, and overseas. Additionally, he/she will oversee the implementation and administration of various student programmes and admissions events, and assist in student recruitment by devising specific outreach initiatives and liaising with key stakeholders to provide taster programmes.
The appointee will also liaise with other University departments and external organisations, and perform any other duties assigned by the Head of the Office. They may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
