About the Role
We are seeking experienced Lead Programmer to lead the design, development, and implementation of mission-critical payment systems. This role is responsible for providing technical leadership, ensuring solution quality, and guiding development teams in delivering secure, scalable, and high-performance applications that support transaction processing, clearing, and settlement operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead application development activities and provide technical guidance to development teams, design and oversee the implementation of scalable applications, APIs, and microservices, ensure adherence to development standards, architecture principles, and best practices, collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, review application design, code quality, and technical deliverables, support troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues, and ensure successful delivery of project milestones within agreed timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum 7 years of experience as a Lead Programmer, Technical Lead, or Software Development Lead.
3. Strong experience in application development using Java, REST API, Kafka, Microservices Architecture, and related application frameworks.
4. Professional certifications related to Java, REST API, Kafka, Microservices, or other relevant application development technologies are preferred.
5. Experience in developing and/or implementing payment systems supporting fund transfer, clearing, and settlement processes is highly preferred.
6. Proven ability to lead development teams and manage technical delivery.
7. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
8. Able to work effectively in a project-based and collaborative environment.
