THE CHINESE MEDICINE HOSPITAL OF HONG KONG
The Chinese Medicine Hospital of Hong Kong (CMHHK) is a flagship Chinese medicine(CM) institution leading the development of CM including Chinese medicines (CMs) in Hong Kong. The CMHHK adopts a public-private partnership model. The HKSAR Government has financed the construction and selected the Hong Kong Baptist University as the contractor to incorporate the HKBU Chinese Medicine Hospital Company Limited as the operator to manage, operate and maintain the CMHHK.
The CMHHK is targeted to commence hospital services by phases at the end of 2025. The CMHHK aims to offer comprehensive CM care, ranging from primary, secondary to tertiary services, and promote advanced and specialised CM services. The CMHHK will pioneer integrated Chinese-western medicine (ICWM) services to cater to different patient needs. Inpatient, day-patient, and outpatient treatments and also community services will be offered by the CMHHK. Both Government-subsidised services and add-on market-oriented services will be provided to ensure accessibility and to meet the diverse healthcare needs of the community.
With a view to prioritising education, training, innovation and research, including collaboration with local and overseas universities to advance evidence-based clinical research and develop CM theories and clinical applications, the CMHHK is now looking for the following talent to join our team.
The CMHHK planning comes to commission stage II (Jan 2024- Dec 2025). During this stage, the Chinese Medicine(CM) Division in CMHHK starts to design the details of protocols for its clinical service, training, research and public promotion. The CM Division requires the following positions in commission stage II to support the evidence-based protocol drafting in the area of CM, ICWM services, training and research; to support the IT and application designs related to operations; and to coordinate the promotional campaign so as to increase public awareness of the missions of CMHHK and spread the CM culture in the community.

Since commencing phased services in December 2025, CMHHK offers comprehensive CM care ranging from primary, secondary to tertiary services, and promotes advanced and specialised CM treatments. As a pioneer in integrated Chinese-western medicine (ICWM), CMHHK addresses diverse patient needs through inpatient, day-patient, outpatient and community-based services. With 65% of services government-subsidised and the remainder market-oriented, the hospital ensures accessible healthcare while meeting the diverse needs of the community.

Programmer (User Support) (26060)
Responsibilities:
Provide first- and second-line IT support via phone, email, remote tools, and deskside assistance;
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Windows, Microsoft Office (especially Outlook), network connectivity, peripherals, and endpoint security;
Install, configure, and maintain end-user devices, applications, and drivers, including imaging, deployment, and patching;
Manage user accounts, access rights, and security settings (e.g., AD/ DMS);
Support enterprise systems (DMS/BIS), including user onboarding, access control, document handling, dashboards, and basic troubleshooting;
Administer print services, including printer/queue setup, issue resolution, and vendor coordination;
Manage IT service management system (e.g., GLPI), ensuring accurate logging, tracking, communication, and timely resolution;
Develop user documentation and provide training, user guidance, and rollout/floor-walking support;
Maintain IT inventory and storeroom operations, including asset tracking, stock control, labeling, lifecycle management, and vendor coordination (RMA/disposal); and
Collaborate with IT teams, follow security policies, and provide support during scheduled rotations, including alternate Saturdays and on-call duties for urgent IT issues.
Requirements:
Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline;
At least 2 years of relevant experience in IT support or a similar role, preferrable in healthcare setting;
Hands-on experience with Windows, Microsoft Office (especially Outlook), print services, and ITSM tools;
Familiarity with deskside support, remote support tools, and document management systems;
Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, Wi Fi, VPN) and endpoint security practices;
Knowledge in inventory / asset management is an advantage;
Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet SLAs;
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and customer service skills with good communication abilities; and
Good command of English and Chinese in both spoken and written forms, including Putonghua.
Work location: The Chinese Medicine Hospital of Hong Kong in Tseung Kwan O.
