Job Overview
Responsibility to guide, manage and support product and customer projects through their lifecycle, providing a consistent key point of contact both internally and externally. Lead and take ownership of internal or external projects, or lead a workstream on large complex projects, ensuring each underlying project is accomplished to the complete satisfaction of the sponsor, on schedule, quality assured and within budget.
Responsibilities
Drive cross‑functional collaboration and competitive analysis, building strong global stakeholder relationships to maximize market impact, profitability, and customer experience.
Operate to manage budgets, deliverables, milestones and timescales for the project to ensure all contractual obligations are met and project benefits are measured.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, third parties and other external bodies to ensure a positive outcome and be overall responsible for the performance of the project team.
Oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business priorities and maximizing quality and profitability.
Ensure solution execution is aligned with portfolio priorities, customer value propositions, and market requirements, supporting long‑term profitability goals.
Collaborate with regional teams to align strategies, share best practices, and support global product launches (Cross‑Market Coordination).
Act as key contact for new features and bids, providing guidance to Sales, Product Leads, and Bid Teams on solution feasibility, risks, and delivery requirements (Solution Design and Delivery).
Lead end‑to‑end project delivery as the primary point of contact and escalation, coordinating activities, prioritising customer requirements, and executing governance through operational and strategic reviews (Implementation & Control).
Ensure structured reporting of progress, financials, risks, actions, issues, dependencies, and changes.
Ensure smooth handover to Operations, support performance during ramp‑up, conduct Lessons Learned, and coordinate stakeholder communication (Project Closure, Handover & Review).
Identify, document, and mitigate risks, leading cross‑functional actions and ensuring timely escalation.
Ensure high‑quality documentation, accurate system records, customer satisfaction surveys, and adherence to Vodafone Automotive project management standards (General, Support and Administration).
Core Competencies, Knowledge & Experience
Experience in automotive/industrial solutions with focus on connectivity and services, and knowledge of main industry standards (Waterfall, Agile, APQP).
Proven ability to lead and influence cross‑functional, multicultural teams—both in person and remotely—often spanning multiple organisations.
Successful track record managing large, complex, multi‑company projects, coordinating multiple stakeholder groups across geographies.
Ability to manage end‑to‑end delivery governance, ensuring alignment on milestones, risks, and dependencies while keeping customer requirements at the centre.
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills; fluent in English.
