- Lead the planning and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with architects and designers to interpret project specifications and provide input on design feasibility.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address challenges, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports, to track progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in project engineering or construction management.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar applications.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or other design software is a plus.
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial management principles related to construction projects.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or working towards obtaining one.
- Experience with sustainable building practices and green construction methods.
- Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology.
- Previous experience in a leadership role or managing a team.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Iowa.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills to manage complex projects effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
