Project Manager (M/F) – Engineering & Construction (BESS | Substations | Grids | Renewables | Green H2)

WinPower is an engineering company with over 30 years of experience in the energy sector, and with several references of power generation projects in Europe, Africa, and America, providing services for the energy transition of its customers and partners. One of the organization’s strategic goals is to provide an opportunity for engineers who want to participate in disruptive projects on the energy sector and build new opportunities within the WinPower Team, particularly in the fields of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Substations, Grids, Renewable Energy projects and H2 plants.
We are looking for:
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the energy sector;
- Experience in energy facilities is valued: generation, distribution, transmission, storage. Renewable or fossil-based;
- Solid knowledge of project management processes, including contract negotiation and management (with clients and suppliers), budget control, human resources, quality management procedures and EHS measures;
- Strong planning skills and proficiency in MS Project;
- Excellent organizational and documental skills and strong writing ability and domain of text processing tools;
- Proactive, responsible, goal-oriented attitude and with a strong desire to meet stakeholders' expectations;
- Strong communication skills, ability to plan and organize teams, defining suitable project strategies;
- Solid risk management skills;
- Fluent in English (written and spoken);
- Availability for national and international travels.
What role will you play?
- Identification of project goals and scope;
- Plan, schedule and document project tasks;
- Ensure deliverables are completed on time and within scope;
- Manage project resources effectively;
- Maintaining clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, both internal and external;
- Identify and manage project risks;
- Document project progress using project management tools and procedures;
- Guarantee high-standard results and project success;
- Grow into a highly autonomous project management role, progressively assuming greater decision-making responsibilities with the support of the Department’s leadership team.
