We're recruiting for an elite construction management firm known in the data center industry for delivering some of the most complex, high-stakes, and high-profile projects in the country. Their leadership team and client roster are a who's who of hyperscale, enterprise, and colocation providers. This is your chance to lead a $6B flagship data center project in Amarillo, TX, from pre-construction through commissioning.
This isn't just another PM role it's an opportunity to put your stamp on one of the largest greenfield data center builds in North America, while working alongside a team known for its award-winning culture, strategic rigor, and collaborative leadership style.
What You'll Own
- Command the entire project lifecycle, from pre-construction through commissioning, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and on-quality delivery.
- Drive the master project schedule, managing critical path activities, and proactively mitigating risks.
- Lead coordination between ownership, contractors, consultants, architects, and permitting authorities.
- Oversee budgeting, cost control, change orders, and financial accountability.
- Enforce safety protocols, quality standards, and data center-specific construction best practices.
- Manage all permitting, zoning, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee commissioning, systems testing, and handover to operations.
What We're Looking For
- 15+ years in construction management, including direct data center project experience.
- Strong background in general contracting, architecture, or engineering.
- Deep understanding of MEP systems, mission-critical infrastructure, and data center best practices.
- Ability to influence teams and stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to zoom out while also diving into details as needed.
- Strong written and verbal communication, including active listening and clear articulation of ideas.
