About the Company
Our client is a growing property development and project management group with an integrated approach to the property lifecycle.
The business is involved across development, project management, construction delivery and asset management, with the capability to take projects from initial concept and development through to completion, before ultimately leasing or selling the completed assets.
With a growing development pipeline and an entrepreneurial approach, the business is continuing to build its internal capability and is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the team and play a key role in delivering its upcoming projects.

About the Role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects from early design and planning through to construction, completion and handover.
You will work closely with consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.

The role will include:

  • Managing projects from inception through to completion
  • Developing and managing project programmes and budgets
  • Coordinating consultants, contractors and key stakeholders
  • Managing procurement, tendering and contractor appointments
  • Providing superintendent / superintendency services throughout construction
  • Managing project costs, variations, claims and contractual matters
  • Monitoring programme, quality, safety and project risks
  • Working closely with contractors and consultants to resolve issues and maintain project momentum
  • Providing regular project reporting to senior management
  • Ensuring projects are delivered in line with development and commercial objectives

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Project Management
  • Strong experience across construction and property development
  • Previous superintendent / superintendency experience
  • Experience managing contractors, consultants and project stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement and project delivery
  • Strong commercial and financial management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage projects autonomously and take ownership of outcomes
  • Practical, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
  • Industrial development experience highly regarded
  • Relevant construction, engineering, property or project management qualification desirable
