POSITION INFO:
Our client is a specialist engineering business operating within South Africa’s renewable energy sector, focusing on solar PV mechanical installations. They deliver solutions across rooftop, ground mount, tracking, and carport systems, partnering with leading global suppliers. With extensive project experience locally, they are expanding their footprint, offering high-quality services to developers and EPC contractors across a range of project sizes. Manage the full lifecycle of multiple solar PV projects, including planning, scheduling, execution, and close-out. Coordinate cross-functional teams, contractors, and suppliers while ensuring projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Oversee cost control, risk mitigation, and compliance with safety and industry regulations. Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and deliver consistent progress reporting and project documentation. Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Proven project management experience within the solar PV or renewable energy industry
- Relevant qualification in Engineering, Project Management, or a similar discipline
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and related tools
- Valid driver’s licence and strong stakeholder communication skills (English & Afrikaans preferred)
