The Project Manager is responsible for planning and reporting progress of all assigned projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. The Project manager also plans, strategizes, and utilizes project resources, prepares and/or processes management approval documents, monitors progress, and keeps stakeholders informed the entire way.
Among the main tasks of the role are as follows: Project Planning and Timeline across all Business Units, Close-out of Project Concerns and Issues across all Business Units, Management Reports and Documentation Compliance, Management Support, and Other Project Exigencies Support
Project Planning and Timeline: Preparation, monitoring, and updating of project timelines/schedules according to every business objective, goal, and milestone set.
Close-out of Project Concerns and Issues: Issues, concerns, and risks are clearly addressed, coordinated, and communicated to relevant stakeholders for disposition and/or close-out.
Management Reports and Documentation Compliance: Reporting documentation is delivered according to an agreed schedule. The preparation of reports includes, but is not limited to, reports to the Smart City President, PM Head; preparation of reports to the SM Principals; preparation of a status report on all workstreams of the PM group.
Management Support: Preparation, monitoring, and providing insights to a certain extent, relevant key materials for management’s decision, direction, and/or information.
Other Project Exigencies: Ensuring all other relevant project exigencies are accomplished, complied with, and executed. This includes matters involving the Smart City Office of the President (functional and/or administrative related)
QUALIFICATION:
Solid knowledge of basic project management methodologies. Degree or equivalent experience in project management with a preference on field related to engineering and infrastructure development.
5 - 8 years project management experience, preferably in infrastructure or technology projects.
Has handled and/or completed infrastructure/development projects (government / private-initiated).
Previous experience in a project team environment with project leading responsibilities is a plus.
Strong coordination, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Knowledge of smart city technologies or digital transformation initiatives is an advantage.
Willing to work ONSITE at MOA COMPLEX, PASAY CITY.
