Project/Program Manager II

We are currently seeking a qualified Project/Program Manager II to join our team. As an Industrial Project Manager / Continuous Improvement, you will use your project management skills to coordinate, plan, and execute manufacturing and/or industrial logistics projects ensuring that health and safety rules are respected and that risks are eliminated.

Location: St‑Laurent, Quebec

Job Type: Hybrid 2‑3 days per week (time can be split between on‑site and remote)

Responsibilities

  • Own delivery of infrastructure modernization programs end‑to‑end.
  • Define clear milestones, delivery structure, and accountability.
  • Manage critical path dependencies across teams.
  • Lead recovery of at‑risk or delayed initiatives.
  • Manage risks, blockers, and escalation paths.
  • Align cross‑functional teams and enforce accountability.
  • Drive governance including RAID, reporting, and decision tracking.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contract dependencies.
  • Track finances, budgets, and cost optimization.
  • Provide executive‑level status updates and insights.
  • Establish repeatable delivery frameworks for future projects.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering or closely related field.
  • 10+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure programs.
  • 5+ years of demonstrable Project Management experience.
  • Experience with enterprise infrastructure initiatives including data center migration and cloud adoption.
  • Strong dependency management and critical path control.
  • Experience managing enterprise vendors and contracts.
  • Strong RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management.
  • Experience with delivery governance and change management.
  • Strong stakeholder communication at a senior leadership level.
  • Experience managing budgets and financial tracking.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
  • PMP certification (strongly preferred).
  • Top nice‑to‑have skills: Experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms, database migration (SQL), experience managing multi‑stream programs, experience in high‑availability environments, and Azure governance experience. Certifications: PMP, Agile/SAFe, Cloud certifications.

Compensation

$120,000 – $125,000 CAD (annual salary). The base salary or rate offered to an applicant within this range is determined by considering several factors, including the individual's geographic location, skills, competencies, and unique qualifications. This ensures compensation is fair and aligned with the specific requirements and attributes of each candidate.
