Protocol Analyst / Software Developer

I am currently looking for a Protocol Analyst/Software Developer for a contract role based near Southampton.

Please note: suitable candidates must have active UKIC DV Clearance and be happy to work onsite 5 days per week

• Location: 5 days per week onsite, could accommodate compressed hours (37.5hrs in 4 days)
• Duration: until 31/03/2027
• Day Rate: £740 per day Inside IR35
• Clearance: candidates must hold a current transferable UKIC DV, a BPSS check will also be required.
• IR35: Inside

Scope of the Work

Analysis of protocols to identify parameters of interest and develop Python software for extraction and delivery of fields in pre-defined output formats for onwards analysis.

Knowledge & Experience Required

• Familiarity with IP protocols at the higher levels of the OSI stack.
• Experienced python programmer.
• Experience of RabbitMQ and Docker.
