Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid)
Job type: Long term contract
We’re looking for a Senior Python API Expert with strong of software development experience to join an enterprise technology team in the Netherlands.
Work Authorization: Candidates must currently have valid permanent work rights in Netherlands (We are unable to sponsor at this point of time).
Must-Have Skills
6+ years of strong Python development
FastAPI / Flask / Django REST Framework
REST APIs & Microservices
OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect & API Gateway
Azure – App Services, Functions, API Management, Storage, Key Vault
Docker & Kubernetes
Azure DevOps, CI/CD & Git
SQL & NoSQL databases
Async programming & API performance optimisation
What you’ll work on
• Design & develop high-performance REST APIs and microservices using Python
• Build scalable solutions with Flask, FastAPI or Django REST Framework
• Design secure enterprise API integrations
• Drive API performance, scalability and reliability
• Work closely with architects, product owners and engineering teams
• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to technical solutions
