We are seeking a Python AWS Developer with 5–8 years of experience delivering software solutions in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing, developing, and maintaining applications leveraging AWS services and modern programming languages such as Python and Dash. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, experience supporting production applications, and familiarity with cloud security, CI/CD, AI-assisted development, and monitoring practices.
Key Responsibilities- Provide senior-level system analysis, design, development, and support for applications and databases.
- Design, develop, and maintain applications leveraging AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and RDS/DynamoDB.
- Develop software solutions using Python and Dash.
- Develop and implement technical solutions and integrate third-party products.
- Ensure application quality through testing, code reviews, and adherence to development standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Support production applications and resolve complex technical issues.
- Work independently on ad hoc business requests and technical initiatives.
- Apply authentication and security best practices using technologies and approaches such as OAuth and Okta.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD workflows using tools such as GitHub Workflows.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to improve development productivity and code quality.
- Work with AI development platforms such as AWS Bedrock and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
- Apply cloud monitoring practices to support application reliability and performance.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to technical knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience delivering software solutions in an Agile development environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python development.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining applications using AWS cloud services.
- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and RDS/DynamoDB.
- Experience with Dash or similar application development frameworks.
- Understanding of authentication and security best practices, including OAuth and Okta.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and workflows such as GitHub Workflows.
- Experience supporting production applications and resolving complex technical issues.
- Strong understanding of software development practices, testing, code reviews, and development standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and mentor junior team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code.
- Experience with AI development platforms such as AWS Bedrock and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring practices.
- Prior experience with the organization's environment is preferred.
