Job Title: Python Backend Developer
Location: Chicago, IL - hybrid onsite
Duration: 6 months
Responsibilities- Understand API concepts such as REST, SOAP, and GraphQL.
- Understand API security (OAuth 2.0, JWT token validation).
- Author, maintain, and refactor Terraform modules (Infrastructure as Code).
- Understand Azure resource provisioning and cloud services; hands-on experience with Azure.
- Experience with Azure API Management, Application Gateway (including WAF), Azure Front Door, Key Vault, and monitoring solutions.
- Understand networking concepts: VNets, subnets, NSGs, route tables, private endpoints.
- Proficient in GitHub Actions (workflow authoring, secrets management, environment setup).
- Experience integrating Terraform deployments into CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with automated testing in pipelines.
- Write and maintain Python scripts for automation.
- Experience with Azure SDKs and REST APIs for resource management.
