Senior Python Backend Developer – AWS Cloud Applications

Location: Toronto, ON – Hybrid (2-3 Days WFO). Duration: 6-12 months.

Responsibilities

  • Senior Software Engineer requirements (ownership of design and implementation of core backend components).
  • Core skills: AWS, Python, SQL queries, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Experience with message queues such as SQS, Kafka, etc.
  • Nice to have: building low‑latency applications and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

  • Mid‑Senior level experience in backend development.
  • Full‑time role.
  • Information Technology function.
  • IT Services and IT Consulting industry.
