The Role
We're looking for a backend developer who takes ownership seriously. You'll work directly on the core product, integrating with external platforms, building reliable messaging infrastructure, and helping shape the architecture as we grow. This isn't a ticket-execution role. You'll be expected to think, challenge, and improve.
You'll report directly to our CTO, with real visibility into technical decisions from day one.
We use Jira for planning and Confluence for documentation.
What You'll Do
- Build and ship new product features following LiliHo's engineering principles
- Own integrations with external platforms (PMS providers, messaging APIs, third-party services)
- Design and maintain automated testing pipelines
- Contribute to architectural decisions and continuous improvement of the codebase
What We're Looking For
Must-haves:
- 4+ years of Python experience with frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI
- Solid grasp of REST API design, Pydantic, Git, and Docker
- Experience with integrations or solutions engineering
- Strong communication and a bias toward documentation and clarity
Nice to haves:
- CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
- LLM frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, PydanticAI) and/or RAG systems
- Cloud environments (Azure, GCP, AWS) and/or Terraform
- Grafana, Prometheus.
- Experience with messaging APIs (WhatsApp Business API or similar)
- OAuth / OIDC
