Job Description:
Client is seeking a Python Backend Developer to support a team working on voice biometrics and real-time voice data systems.
The team maintains backend systems that support voice-data processing and works with existing data pipelines and models. The project currently involves ingesting historical voice data and converting it into the client's ecosystem, with a focus on improving automation around this process and maintaining platform stability.
The role will primarily focus on Python-based ETL/data pipeline development, with some potential API/backend development.

Responsibilities
- Develop and support Python-based ETL pipelines.
- Set up and maintain infrastructure around existing data pipelines.
- Support the ingestion and conversion of historical voice data into the client's ecosystem.
- Identify and implement opportunities to automate existing data conversion processes.
- Help maintain the stability of backend systems supporting the voice-data platform.
- Support enhancements and new features for the existing systems.
- Work with technologies including PySpark, AWS Glue, Spark, and Python.
- Perform data-related work using existing models and pipelines rather than developing the underlying data models.
- Potentially contribute to API/backend development using Python.
- Support planned technical and network upgrades affecting the platform.
- Work independently, manage assigned work, communicate effectively with the team, and raise risks or issues when they arise.
