Our client, a Canadian provider of structural steel, is looking for a Python CNC Machine Operator to work in Newmarket! This is a full time long term job opportunity!
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain Python scripts or programs for automation, data processing, and system tasks.
- Operate and monitor Python-based applications to ensure smooth daily execution.
- Debug and troubleshoot errors in Python code and suggest improvements.
- Integrate Python scripts with databases, APIs, or third-party tools.
- Document code, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
- Perform scheduled or on-demand runs of Python programs and verify outputs.
Requirements
- Work in a fast-paced Steel production/shop environment
- Strong understanding of Python programming fundamentals (syntax, libraries, error handling).
- Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues quickly.
- Attention to detail when running scripts and verifying results.
Pay rate
- $27/hour
- Weekly pay every Friday
