A high-performance technology team operating in a fast-moving, real-time environment is looking for a strong Python Engineer to build and automate critical operational workflows supporting production systems.
This is not a pure DevOps role. The core focus is building automation tooling in Python, streamlining processes, reducing manual intervention, improving reliability, and supporting business-critical systems that operate at scale.
You’ll work across a mix of Python engineering, infrastructure automation, deployment tooling, and production support, partnering closely with technical stakeholders in a highly performance-driven environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Building Python automation tools and workflows
- Automating operational and deployment processes
- Improving system reliability, monitoring, and alerting
- Working across Linux and Windows environments
- Managing deployment pipelines and release processes
- Supporting data flows and messaging systems
Looking for
- Genuine automation mindset (not just scripting)
- Experience with production systems / operational tooling
- Exposure to DevOps tooling and deployment automation
- Database experience (SQL / operational data handling)
- Comfortable working in technical, fast-paced environments
Trading or financial markets experience is beneficial, but not required. Strong engineers from other high-performance environments are encouraged to apply.
