Python Lead Developer Location – Montreal / GTA / Calgary Currently 3 days / week and from Sept – 4 days in office / week onsite. Responsibilities
Lead Python development efforts across multiple locations (Montreal, GTA, Calgary). Collaborate with teams to design, develop, and deploy robust data-driven applications. Mentor junior developers and ensure code quality and best practices are followed. Coordinate on-site and remote work schedules to meet project milestones. Qualifications / Skills
Python – Primary. 6-8 years of experience. Airflow, Kubernetes, ELK, Flask / Django / FastAPI – 3 years of experience is preferred. Gen AI experience will be a big plus. Experience with database-to-database migration, especially MS SQL to an open-source database (Spark / ClickHouse). Experience moving code from Java to Python or migrating between Python frameworks.
