My client is a leading global multi-strategy investment platform that is looking to hire a
Strategy Engineer
to join a front-office investment team. This is an excellent opportunity to work directly alongside Portfolio Managers, Quant Researchers, Traders, and Risk teams, building technology that powers investment research, portfolio construction, risk management, and trade execution.
You’ll be joining a highly collaborative engineering team where you’ll own projects end-to-end, build full-stack applications, and leverage AI to create innovative analytics that directly impact the investment process.
What You’ll Do
Build full-stack applications supporting research, portfolio construction, risk management, and trading workflows
Develop end-to-end solutions including data ingestion pipelines, backend microservices, APIs, and frontend dashboards
Provide production and trade support to Portfolio Managers and Analysts, ensuring smooth day-to-day trading operations
Work closely with Technology, Trading, Quant Research, and Risk teams to deliver impactful solutions
Leverage AI and machine learning to develop differentiated analytics and improve investment workflows
Own the full software development lifecycle from design and development through deployment and ongoing support
Enhance trading and data infrastructure to improve reliability, scalability, and data quality
Core Requirements
2–5 years of experience as a Quant Developer, STRAT, Strategy Engineer, or Front Office Software Engineer within buy-side or sell-side firms
Strong Python development skills with experience building production-grade applications
Experience integrating with OMS/PMS platforms or trading infrastructure (Equities experience preferred)
Exposure to REST/GraphQL APIs and frontend technologies such as React or Dash
Experience applying AI/ML techniques is advantageous
