Python Developer – GCP, Kubernetes, REST APIs & CI/CD
Location: Hybrid – 3 Days per Week On-Site
Role Summary
- Experienced Python Developer with GCP and Kubernetes expertise to design, develop, and support cloud-based applications and services
- Strong experience in Python development, Google Cloud Platform services, Kubernetes, REST APIs, SQL, and CI/CD practices
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using Python
- Build scalable and secure cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Develop and consume REST APIs
- Create and optimize SQL queries for data validation and reporting
- Deploy, monitor, and manage applications in Kubernetes environments
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
- Work with cloud services and infrastructure components to support application development
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and business teams to deliver scalable solutions
- Ensure application reliability, security, monitoring, and performance
Required Skills
Python Development
- Strong working experience with Python
Experience with Python frameworks such as:
- Flask
- Django
- FastAPI
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Hands-on experience with:
- BigQuery
- Cloud Functions
- Cloud Run
- Pub/Sub
- Cloud Storage
- Dataflow
- Composer
- IAM
Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment management
Database & API Development
- Strong SQL skills for query development and data validation
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs
DevOps & CI/CD
- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as:
- Jenkins
- GitHub Actions
- Cloud Build
- Azure DevOps
Cloud & Security
- Understanding of:
- Cloud networking
- Authentication
- IAM
- Logging
- Monitoring
