PAY: $55-75/hour W2. This is a contract to hire role. Applicants must be willing to convert to a perm employee in the future.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Python applications and services.
- Build and support RESTful APIs and integrations with internal and external systems.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, and developers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in the design and implementation of data pipelines, automation frameworks, and integration solutions.
- Support AI/ML initiatives by developing data processing components and integrating machine learning services into business applications.
- Troubleshoot production and non-production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, security standards, and best practices.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices to improve software quality and deployment efficiency.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, design artifacts, and operational procedures.
- Support application monitoring, performance tuning, and reliability improvements.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 4–6 years of hands-on software development experience with Python.
- Strong knowledge of Python libraries, frameworks, and development best practices.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and integrating with third-party platforms.
- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of software design patterns, object-oriented programming, and scalable application architecture.
- Experience with source control systems such as Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
