We are looking for an Amazing: Python Developer
Seniority: 5+ years
Location : Hybrid - Leuven, Flemish Region, Belgium
Skills Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software engineering
- Strong proficiency in Python programming, software design patterns, and best practices
- Strong technical analysis and solution design skills
- Experience designing and implementing scalable software frameworks, libraries, and backend services
- Experience working with Big Data processing technologies
- Experience with Apache Spark, Pandas, and Polars
- Experience with AWS cloud platform
- Knowledge and experience with AI-assisted development tools, such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and data platform components
- Knowledge of Data Lakes, Metadata Management, Data Lineage, and Data Governance concepts
- Experience with CI/CD practices and DevOps tools
- Experience with Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitHub, and Concourse
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools, especially Apache Airflow
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Ability to contribute to software architecture and framework design decisions
- Ability to balance tactical solutions with long-term technical vision
- Strong ownership, decision-making, and collaboration skills
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Good communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience mentoring other developers is a plus
- Good command of English
- Availability to work in a hybrid model
