Job Description
We are seeking a Junior Python Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python development, REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven integrations and a proven ability to design, build, and support scalable, secure software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and support Python-based applications and services.
- Build and maintain REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven integrations.
- Contribute to Agentic AI workflows and MCP-enabled application components.
- Implement integrations between AI models, enterprise systems, and business applications.
- Develop reusable services and components aligned to enterprise engineering standards.
- Participate in the SDLC including design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and operational controls for service reliability.
- Contribute to automation, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks.
- Work with messaging and event-streaming technologies for asynchronous processing.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Support issue resolution, performance tuning, and application enhancements.
- Document technical designs, implementation details, and operational procedures.
- Follow established security, governance, and risk management standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python with 2–5 years of hands-on application development.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices using FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging platforms.
- Knowledge of SQL and database technologies.
- Experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
- Experience working in Linux environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with effective collaboration abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related STEM field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to Agentic AI frameworks, MCP, LLMs, and GenAI solutions.
- Familiarity with Kafka, MQ, or other event-streaming platforms.
- Experience with cloud platforms and container technologies.
- Banking, risk management, or financial services experience.
- Understanding of distributed systems, observability, and platform monitoring.
