The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Python Software Engineer to join one of our delivery teams working on AI-enabled solutions within a large enterprise environment. In this role, you will play a key part in building scalable applications, cloud-native services, and APIs that power data-driven and AI-based products.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and services using Python
- Build backend systems, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native solutions supporting AI-driven products
- Develop full-stack applications, including modern user interfaces using React or Angular
- Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to operationalize AI models
- Contribute to data-intensive solutions supporting analytics and machine learning initiatives
- Ensure systems are secure, reliable, observable, and scalable
- Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to solution design
- Mentor and support other developers within Agile teams
What You Bring to the Table
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong expertise in Python development and software design principles
- Proven experience building backend services, APIs, and distributed systems
- Experience delivering full-stack applications in cloud environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Core Skills Required
- Python (advanced proficiency)
- Frontend frameworks: React or Angular
- Cloud platforms: AWS or equivalent
- DevOps and automation: CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Testing frameworks and automated testing practices
- Strong understanding of software architecture and engineering best practices
