Python Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop well-structured and documented source code
• Provide documentation as needed
• Perform software deployment and packaging
• Help design and implement functional requirements
• Follow formal processes like Scrum and issue tracking/updating in support of the product development process.

Requirements

• Solid experience as Python Developer
• MUST be comfortable using AWS services along with SAM templates and Lambda functions
• Experience in the AWS Python frameworks
• Experience building/support APIs
• Understanding of cloud file systems, databases and SQL
• Comfortable on Linux/UNIX systems (RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu)
• Scripting experience using BASH and/or Python
• Understanding of internet standards, web technologies, and enterprise-level systems
• Web technologies including ReST, XML/JSON, client/server architecture, web architecture

Technical Skills

• Python 3 (of course)
• PDatabases: SQL working knowledge (MySQL/Oracle would nice), AWS DynamoDB
• Cloud Technologies: working knowledge of AWS services, ideally Lambda, Cognito, DynamoDB, S3, Kinesis, SQS/SNS, IoT, Serverless framework, and othersg
• Comfortable with modern software development tools/environments:
• Version control tools, git github
• Project management systems, ideally Jira
• Documentation in markdown
