This is a 12-month contract position for a Python Developer based in New York City, New York, United States. You will be responsible for building, testing, and deploying scalable software solutions using Python across back-end systems, APIs, and data-driven applications to support a variety of technical and business needs.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain server-side applications, APIs, and scripts using Python.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Integrate databases, third-party services, and APIs into applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure application reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and support continuous integration and deployment processes.
- Required
- 7+ years of combined experience with Python, Angular, and SQL.
- Strong proficiency in Python and related frameworks.
- Banking industry experience.
- Experience with Single Sign-on implementation.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, database integration, and version control systems.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to work independently or in agile teams.
- Preferred
- Familiarity with front-end technologies, cloud platforms, or DevOps tools.
