The Role
We are looking for amid-levelsoftware engineerto join our team.In this role, you will contribute to building and enhancing systems that power large-scale optimisation runs used by global financial institutions.You’llcollaboratewithcolleagues in Product Developmentand Financial Engineeringto deliver reliable, high-quality solutions, while continuing to develop yourexpertisein infrastructure systems and software engineering.
You willvalidateandintegratefinancialdata into theoptimisationalgorithmsand ensure results are delivered back to clients in a secure, reliable, andtimelyway.You willalso develop analytics and feedback capabilities that help both our Productmanagementteam and clients better understand outcomes andidentifyways to improve futureoptimisationruns through adjustments to inputs, parameters, and workflows.

KeyResponsibilities
Design, build, and deliverhigh-quality software solutionsboth independently and as part of a wider engineering team
DevelopAPIs and backend servicesfor scenario generation and integration with quantitative libraries
Evaluate and improve theperformance, effectiveness, and reliabilityof system components
Validate and processclient dataaccurately and securely
Identifyand implement opportunities toautomate processes and workflows
Generate structured reports and formatted output files for delivery toclients and third-party APIs
WhatWe’reLooking For
Strong Python skills
Experience working with trade booking, middle-office, or post-trade systems, and familiarity with standards such as MarkitWire, FpML, or FIX protocol
Familiaritybuildingdata-intensive applications, including use ofPyDatastack
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Familiarity withUnix/Linux,Git, andSQL
Desirable
Knowledge offinancial derivatives, clearingand the basics ofmarginandcapitalregulatoryrequirements
Exposure to AI-assisted tools or workflow automation in a secure, responsible engineering environment
Experience across the fullsoftware development lifecycle,andunderstanding ofsoftware design principles(includingSOLID), clean code practices, andobject-oriented programming
