About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Python Developer with strong financial services experience to support enterprise application development initiatives within DTCC. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building backend applications, APIs, automation solutions, and data processing systems using Python in a highly regulated financial environment.
Required Skills
- 12+ years of overall IT experience
- Strong hands-on Python development experience
- Financial Services / Banking domain experience (Required)
- Experience developing backend applications and services
- Strong experience with REST APIs
- Experience with data processing and SQL databases
- Linux/Unix administration and scripting experience
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Git or other version control systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms
- Experience with Snowflake or other modern data platforms
- Knowledge of job scheduling and workflow automation tools
- Experience with batch-processing systems
- Familiarity with security scanning tools and enterprise security practices
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments
