Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain POS and ERP applications using Python frameworks
such as Odoo, Django, or Flask.
Integrate and customize ERP modules, including sales, inventory, finance, and
customer management.
Develop and enhance POS systems, ensuring seamless transaction processing and userfriendly interfaces.
Work with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB to store and manage
business data efficiently.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and UI/UX
designers, to gather and implement requirements.
Develop and integrate APIs for third-party services, payment gateways, and ecommerce platforms.
Optimize system performance by writing efficient, scalable, and secure code.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure smooth operations.
Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in POS and ERP
application development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. 5-7 years of proven experience in Python development, with a focus on POS/ERP applications.
3. Strong understanding of Unix/Linux environments and their integration with enterprise
applications.
4. Experience in designing and implementing data structures, as well as expertise in data
normalization techniques.
5. Proficient in automated testing including unit, functional, integration, and failure testing in a
CI/CD context.
6. Solid understanding of software development best practices and coding standards, including
agile processes.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team
environment.
8. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
