This role is highly hands-on and focused on buildingRESTful APIs, serverless solutions, and automated cloud infrastructurethat meet high standards of scalability, reliability, and security.The ideal candidate has a strong cloud engineering background, is comfortable working across services and databases, and collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCloud & Application DevelopmentDesign and developRESTful web servicesusingPython.Build and deploy scalable solutions onAWS, following cloud-native best practices.Develop Python scripts and services to interact with AWS resources usingboto3.Process and integrate data usingXML and JSONformats.Integrate internal and external APIs.AWS Infrastructure & ServicesDesign, deploy, and maintain AWS services including:Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, SQSSecrets Manager, Route53, CloudWatch LogsEventBridge Scheduler, Kinesis Data FirehoseEC2, ALB, VPC Endpoints, Security Groups, IAM roles and policiesImplementcustom authorizationand security controls.Infrastructure as Code & AutomationUseTerraformto provision and manage AWS infrastructure.Automate deployments and configuration to ensure consistency and repeatability.Data & Database IntegrationWork with relational and NoSQL databases, including:RDS OraclePostgreSQLDynamoDBDesign and implement data access patterns aligned with performance and scalability needs.Quality & CollaborationWrite and maintainunit teststo ensure code quality and reliability.Collaborate with product, architecture, and operations teams to gather requirements and troubleshoot issues.Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.Required Skills & Experience5+ yearsof experience in software or cloud engineering roles.Strong hands-on experience withAWSin production environments.Strong proficiency inPythonfor backend and cloud development.Experience designing and developingRESTful APIs.Hands-on experience withTerraformfor Infrastructure as Code.Experience working with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB).
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Preferred QualificationsBackground or experience inJava(legacy systems or hybrid environments).
AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, or equivalent).
Experience with serverless architectures at scale.Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Experience working in complex, multi-service cloud ecosystems.
