- This is a development position within the Technology organization responsible for building and supporting modern software solutions leveraging Python, microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and emerging AI technologies.
- The role will contribute to the development of Agentic AI solutions, MCP integrations, and distributed application platforms.
- The successful candidate will work closely with senior engineers, architects, and business partners to deliver scalable and secure applications while adhering to established engineering and governance standards.
As a Software Engineer, you will:
- Design, develop, test, and support Python-based applications and services.
- Build and maintain REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven integrations.
- Contribute to development of Agentic AI workflows and MCP-enabled application components.
- Implement integrations between AI models, enterprise systems, and business applications.
- Develop reusable services and components following enterprise engineering standards.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and operational controls to ensure service reliability.
- Contribute to automation, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks.
- Work with messaging and event-streaming technologies to support asynchronous processing.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to analyze requirements and develop technical solutions.
- Support issue resolution, performance tuning, and application enhancements.
- Document technical designs, implementation details, and operational procedures.
- Follow established security, governance, and risk management standards.

Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience developing applications using Python.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices development.
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging platforms.
- Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or similar Python frameworks.
- Knowledge of SQL and database technologies.
- Familiarity with source control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
- Experience working in Linux environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Agentic AI frameworks, MCP, LLMs, and GenAI solutions.
- Familiarity with Kafka, MQ, or event-streaming platforms.
- Experience with cloud platforms and container technologies.
- Banking, risk management, or financial services experience.
- Understanding of distributed systems, observability, and platform monitoring
