Client: Our client is a Los Angeles-based telecom company that provides Internet services to both businesses and individuals.They offer a variety of digital products, including games, books, software, and other online content.The company is experiencing rapid growth and is looking for experienced engineers to strengthen its core development team.
- Responsibilities: Develop and maintain scalable backend services in Python.
- Design APIs and data flows to support e-commerce functionality.
- Implement and optimize e-commerce UI patterns (checkout, cart, subscriptions).
- Contribute to frontend development using jQuery/Backbone.js/Marionette.
- Configure and optimize Webpack builds (loaders, plugins, code splitting).
- Maintain asset pipelines with Grunt.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility (including IE support).
- Collaborate closely with DevOps, frontend engineers, and product teams.
- 5+ years of professional experience with Python (Django, Flask, or FastAPI).
- Strong knowledge of jQuery/Backbone.js/Marionette in production environments.
- Deep expertise with Webpack configuration.
- Hands-on experience with Grunt task automation.
- Solid debugging skills and cross-browser troubleshooting experience.
- Familiarity with e-commerce UI/UX patterns (checkout, cart, subscriptions).
- Nice to have: TypeScript experience.
- Knowledge of modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
