Client: Our client is a Los Angeles-based telecom company that provides Internet services to both businesses and individuals. They offer a variety of digital products, including games, books, software, and other online content. The company is experiencing rapid growth and is looking for experienced engineers to strengthen its core development team.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain scalable backend services in Python.
- Design APIs and data flows to support e-commerce functionality.
- Implement and optimize e-commerce UI patterns (checkout, cart, subscriptions).
- Contribute to frontend development using jQuery/Backbone.js/Marionette.
- Configure and optimize Webpack builds (loaders, plugins, code splitting).
- Maintain asset pipelines with Grunt.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility (including IE support).
- Collaborate closely with DevOps, frontend engineers, and product teams.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience with Python (Django, Flask, or FastAPI).
- Strong knowledge of jQuery/Backbone.js/Marionette in production environments.
- Deep expertise with Webpack configuration.
- Hands-on experience with Grunt task automation.
- Solid debugging skills and cross-browser troubleshooting experience.
- Familiarity with e-commerce UI/UX patterns (checkout, cart, subscriptions).
- Nice to have: TypeScript experience.
- Knowledge of modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
