Immediate need for a talented Senior Python Developer – Quartz Platform. This is a 12+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Jersey City, NJ or Charlotte, NC(Hybrid).

Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and enhance applications on the Quartz trading platform.
- Build and support the Quartz Remote Risk framework across multiple asset classes.
- Develop analytics and pricing components for risk and hedge accounting platforms.
- Collaborate with traders, quants, risk teams, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with Python.
- Experience working with the Quartz Platform, including Remote Risk, Sandra, Bob, Hugs, or other Quartz components.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices, containers, and CI/CD.
- Knowledge of financial products such as Bonds, Interest Rate Swaps, Repos, and FX.
- Understanding of Risk and P&L calculations for trading products.
- Angular or Spring experience is a plus.
