Job Title: Gen AI Automation Engineer / Gen AI Automation Developer
Role Overview
We are looking for a Gen AI Automation Engineer to design, build, and deploy production‐grade Generative AI solutions , not just prototypes. In this role, you will work closely with automation architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver intelligent, scalable automation solutions that drive real business and IT outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop Gen AI‐driven automations using Large Language Models (LLMs) for business and IT use cases.
Build end‐to‐end intelligent workflows by combining Gen AI with automation platforms (RPA, APIs, scripts, and event‐driven flows).
Implement prompt engineering , structured outputs, and safety guardrails to ensure reliability and responsible AI usage.
Develop agent‐based workflows , including task planning, tool usage, and decision‐making logic.
Build and maintain Retrieval‐Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using vector databases to ground LLM responses in enterprise knowledge.
Develop reusable automation components, frameworks, and accelerators to improve delivery speed and consistency.
Optimize Gen AI solutions for performance, cost efficiency, and scalability.
Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and responsible‐AI standards.
Support production deployment , monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Experience
Core Technical Skills
Strong hands‐on experience with Python for automation, API development, and orchestration.
Practical, hands‐on experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs).
Experience with prompt engineering and LLM orchestration techniques.
Proven experience building automation workflows , including process automations, scripts, and event‐driven solutions.
Strong experience with API integrations (REST, JSON, OAuth, webhooks).
Gen AI & Automation Expertise
Hands‐on experience with Lang Chain, Llama Index , or similar Gen AI frameworks.
Solid understanding of RAG architectures and vector databases.
Knowledge of AI agents , tool usage, and multi‐step reasoning workflows.
Exposure to OCR, document processing, and unstructured data automation.
Mindset & Traits
Strong automation‐first, problem‐solving mindset.
Ability to clearly translate business problems into scalable AI workflows.
Comfortable working in a fast‐evolving Gen AI ecosystem.
Strong bias toward production‐ready, reliable, and scalable solutions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Experience Level
~3–8 years of overall professional experience , with relevant hands‐on exposure to automation, Python development, and Gen AI solutions.
