This position will use Python software to create a system to construct the software configuration of the various packages that constitute a software build within an Auto SAR software environment.Location: Local to Columbus, IN area, with capability to travel to the building depending on project needs, approximately 2 days in the office weekly.
Remote work will be considered for qualified individuals.ResponsibilitiesGather the voice of the customers and create requirements for software Auto SAR packages involved in a software buildImplement the design using Python and Jfrog Conan software package managerWork closely with software and system engineers to develop softwarePerform software level testing and validation testingAssure all engineering technical data is complete and accurately documented; establish and maintain technical files per the engineering processes, being cognizant of applicable certifications and product requirementsCreate and update SRSs (Software Requirements Specification)QualificationsElectronics or controls software backgroundKnowledge of embedded software build environment and C codingBachelor's degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines, or equivalentAt least 2+ years of Python experienceJfrog Conan training available if unfamiliarBenefitsFull benefits: medical, dental, 401 K matchOngoing professional development opportunitiesAdaptable hybrid scheduleOpportunity to work on industry leading projects
